They provide a structured way to prepare, authorize, and monitor elevated work, ensuring everyone understands their responsibilities, safety measures, and emergency arrangements. Ladder use must always be carefully justified, and even when contractors bring their own permits, final responsibility remains with the organization overseeing the work.
